About me: Currently, I am working as a Assistant Professor in the department of Physics in Techno College of Engineering, Agartala, Tripura. Research Associate in Thin Film and Nanoscience Laboratory, Department of Physics, Tripura University. Education: I completed my schooling from Khowai Government English Medium High School and Khowai Government Class XII SchooI, Tripura, India, in 2001. I had completed my Bachelor Degree in Physics (Hons.) from Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Agartala, Tripura between 2001 and 2004. My Honours subject was Physics. The remainder of my studies covered Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Bengali. Career: I started my postgraduate career at The Tripura University ( A Central University) in 2004. After completing my postgraduate degree, I employed as a lecturer in Physics in Tripura Institute of Technology (T.I.T) for one year. After that I began my PhD in 2008 in Thin Film and Nanoscience laboratory in Tripura University under the supervision of Dr. Syed Arshad Hussain. I submitted my thesis in January 2013 and awarded PhD in August 2013. I completed my two years Post doctoral research (from 2013-2015) from Ben-Guiron University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel. I was working in "Combinatorial Identification of Explosives Using Chemically Modified Polydiacetylene Thin Films". I have completed my one year research associate, CSIR program (from April 2017- March 2018) from Tripura University (A Central University). Interests: Besides Research work I am interested in roaming , playing, Cooking and watching movies.
